Ghassan Baroudi joining WICC Board of Directors

We are glad to announce that Ghassan Baroudi, founder and member of Focal Zone, has lately joined the West Island Crisis Center (WICC) board of directors.

The nomination has been announced during the organization's annual general assembly that took place on June 8th.

Founded in 1987, the West Island Crisis Center is a non-profit, community-based organization that serves part of the IUHSSC (Integrated University Health and Social Services Center) Montreal West Island territory.

The WICC’s mission is ; i) to meet the needs of adults experiencing a situational crisis, psychological or psychosocial distress, ii) as well as to bring support to the loved ones of those in crisis.

The Center 24/7 free services include; Crisis line, specialized Crisis intervention in the community, Short term residential stay, and Post-crisis support.

In line with the organization's mission and goals, Ghassan believes in the importance of two-way communication and active listening for patients and decision-makers alike.

On another note, Ghassan indicated that “the pandemic was no doubt a critical turning point in the way we support each other. It is the time now to give a helping hand to those in need.

Ghassan Baroudi is commercial director, specialized in management consulting, contracts and change management. With 20 years of experience, Mr. Baroudi provides professional services to multinational consulting engineering, project management firms and non profit organizations.
