Ghassan BAROUDI, M.Arch, MBA
Biography
Founder of FocalZone, Ghassan Baroudi is a trilingual Management Consultant and National Contracts & Risks Director with diversified experience and involvement within politics, change management and organizational development. Mr. Baroudi provides professional services for multinational (and eventually multicultural) consulting engineering, project management firms and Non-Profit-Organizations (NPO).
As Strategy and Management Consultant, he is providing consulting services and support to professional, political entities and NPOs. Among others, he (i) led, assisted in few election activities and campaigns, and facilitated dialogue among federal candidates, exploring common ground and potential collaboration, (ii) conducted Project-Management-Office performance analysis for Anglo-Spanish Joint-Venture CSM 2B dollar CHUM project, and (iii) as NPOs delegate to the Parliament, met and discussed position papers with numerous Members of Parliament, Senators and policy makers.
Moreover, concerned about local societal and organizational issues, he chairs the Board of two organizations, serves as Director on two other NPOs, and ran for the office of mayor of Ile-Bizard-Ste-Genevieve, Montreal. In 2021, Ghassan was chosen as "Leadership Ambassador" as part of “Concertation Montreal” programme, funded by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration, and the City of Montreal.
Ghassan holds an MBA in management consulting, a Master in Architecture and is enrolled in a Master in International Relations. Furthermore, he is member and active participant in several Project Management, Organizational Development, International Relations and Multilateral activities; including United Nations UNITAR immersion programme, European Commission, CETO (Organizational Transformation studies Center - HEC), Chair of Project Management at UQAM and PMI (project management institute).
