Jihad Farah, M.Arch, MUD
Biography
Jihad Farah is an Architect and a Political Activist. He holds a Master's in Urban Design from the Lebanese University. He has many contributions to several local development projects, and had worked with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
Mr. Farah chaired the Student Council of the Institute of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University and was a prominent activist in the Order of Architects and Engineers.
Moreover, Jihad was involved in a number of social, environmental, and developmental movements and initiatives. He has several participations in political programs and debates through local and international TV and radio stations.
In 2019 Mr. Farah took part in the Lebanese uprising on the 17th of October. He participated in numerous field movements and political initiatives, the last of which was joining the "Shamaluna" coalition.
Today, Jihad is a candidate for the Lebanese parliamentary elections, representing the Koura district - North 3.
