Biography
Christine Paré is a feminist and anti-racist activist. She is very involved in various groups defending women's rights, the inclusion of people from diverse backgrounds and people in vulnerable situations. Moreover, she advocates for the involvement and participation of all citizens.
Ms. Paré was co-chair of the NDP's Federal Women's Commission and co-chair of the NDP-Quebec Section's Cultural Communities Commission. She was a candidate in the federal elections in the riding of Papineau in 2019 and 2021 where she came in 2nd place.
Christine currently holds the position of Senior Advisor in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the TransMedTech Institute at CHU-Sainte Justine. Previously, she was Senior Advisor for Institutional Accommodation of Diversity at the General Secretariat of the Université de Montréal. She has also worked in community organizations.
Christine Paré holds a PhD in Applied Human Sciences from the Université de Montréal, a Master's degree in Project Management from UQAM, a Diploma in Administration from Concordia University and a Diploma in Program Evaluation from ENAP.
