Ghassan Baroudi joining Coalition Climate Mtl’s Board of Directors

We are pleased to announce that Ghassan Baroudi, founder and mentor at Focal Zone, has joined the ranks of Montréal Climate Coalition (MCC).

As Climate change is increasingly impacting our day-to-day (as well as future generations’) life, acting responsibly should be everyone’s job. That is, by taking sustainable and responsible measures, at varied levels, implementing adequate ecological and energy transition.

Montréal Climate Coalition is a non-profit organization, with the mission of;

informing and connecting citizens, political decision-makers, and other energy-transition actors as to practices and policies that will guarantee the achievement of carbon neutrality.

The Coalition’s members and partners activities and projects involved in climate actions, in order to make Montreal (metropolitan with a population of circa 4.9 million) a carbon-neutral, greener and healthier city. 

Impressed by the dynamic, the level of engagement, and the mutual commitment among team members and stakeholders, Ghassan kept an eye on MCC endeavors over the past couple of years.

In his introductory address at MCC annual general assembly, Ghassan highlighted the importance of the civic education and to reach out to decision makers, actions that are effectively part of the Coalition’s current plan.

By joining CCM board of directors, Mr. Baroudi looks forward putting his managerial and field experience; raising awareness among community, elected officials and decision-makers, in order to meet environmental targets and to ensure appropriate ecological transition.
